■ This client’s program required for the project to occur in two construction phases. The first stage would establish at 4-stall horse stable with supportive service and storage components. Above the front half of the stable would be the second floor caretaker’s efficiency apartment. A garage component would support the second floor clubhouse that would have views of the north and south landscape.
The second stage of construction would be for a primary residence component that would flank the stable massing and anchor to the common garage/clubhouse core. A courtyard would be created and become the forecourt for the clubhouse. ■
